The free AI Act assessment workflow is active now and does not require a credit card. Paid tiers are staged for post-launch activation and can be joined through the founding waitlist.
Where is my data stored?▼
Core application data is stored in EU infrastructure (Frankfurt region). Legalithm provides GDPR-aligned controls and a Data Processing Agreement (DPA).
Is the CRA tooling really free?▼
Yes, and it stays free. The command line is MIT licensed, the record format is published under CC BY 4.0 with a commitment never to withdraw it, and an independent verifier ships alongside so a record can be checked without us and without an account. Assess as many products as you like. Paid plans add the hosted control plane: pushing snapshots and seeing across product versions in a browser.
Does my dependency list leave my machine?▼
No. The join between your components and vulnerability data is done locally and is designed never to leave. The hosted control plane refuses to store it: send it product versions, Annex I determinations, the support period and document hashes, and it will reject a payload carrying findings, claims or a component list rather than quietly dropping them.
Do you charge per product?▼
Not for the tool. Assessing a product, generating its technical file and signing its record are free for any number of products. Paid plans meter how many product versions you keep in the hosted control plane, which is the part that costs us something to run.
